Before First Use
- Read the manual carefully before use.
- Clean the inner pot and removable insulation plate / heat preservation plate before first use.
- Make sure the sealing ring or sealing washer is installed correctly.
- Place the inner pot into the cooker and rotate slightly left and right so it contacts the heating plate closely.
Basic Operation
- Measure rice with the measuring cup.
- Rinse rice in the inner pot.
- Add water according to the inner-pot scale line for the selected function.
- Wipe the outside bottom of the inner pot dry.
- Place the pot into the cooker and rotate slightly to ensure close contact.
- Close the lid completely.
- Select the function and press Start / Cook.
- After cooking, the cooker switches automatically to Keep Warm.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Unplug before cleaning and let the cooker cool down.
- Clean the removable insulation plate with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Wipe the sealing ring or sealing washer gently. Do not pull it forcefully.
- Wash the inner pot with a soft sponge only.
- Do not use steel wool.
- Do not wash or soak the body in water.
- Remove rice grains or residue from the heating plate before next use.
Important Safety Notes
- Use only on 120V~60Hz.
- Do not place the inner pot over naked fire.
- Do not open the lid or place hands near the steam vent while cooking.
- Do not move or shake the cooker during operation.
- Do not block the steam hole.
- B12W1 should not be used to cook porridge.
- Keep warm should not be used too long; food texture may decline.
